Roundtable: Seeing around corners

Where should foresight should sit, how it should be applied, and how it can play a more influential role in decision-making.

LONDON – 12TH NOVEMBER 2026

Join us to discuss:

Where Foresight sits and how it shapes decisions

As organisations navigate increasing uncertainty and change, many insight teams are reassessing the role foresight should play in shaping decisions.

Hosted by STRAT7, this small-group roundtable is designed to facilitate an open exchange of ideas, challenges and experiences among peers in a relaxed setting.

What to expect

We're bringing together a small group of senior insight and strategy leaders for an open discussion on where foresight sits, how it's evolving, and how organisations are embedding it into decision-making.

Rather than presentations or speaker panels, the focus is on discussion, debate and practical perspectives from those actively building foresight capabilities within their organisations, as well as those newer to it.

We expect lively discussions on themes such as:

  • Where should foresight sit – inside insight, or alongside it? And does ownership of the capability affect foresight’s influence and credibility?
  • What’s driving demand? Is the pace of change forcing slower-moving insights functions to think-forward?
  • How do organisations balance evidence with an inherently less certain discipline? How to manage the tension between rigour and speculation for stakeholders who want proof?
  • From ‘what’s coming’ to ‘what do we do about it’ – the activation gap. How can foresight be embedded into decision-making and action? What can partners do to support?
  • How does AI make foresight more valuable? Given how much ‘signal-spotting’ can now be automated, how do we best differentiate and position the human, judgement-driven part of foresight?

The discussion will be facilitated by Lucy Fallon, Managing Director, and Jon Watts, Head of Client Strategy at STRAT7 CrowdDNA. Drawing on their experience in foresight, cultural intelligence and strategic consultancy, they’ll help guide a conversation that is practical, candid and driven by the perspectives in the room.

No presentations • Confidential conversation • Diverse attendees
