STRAT7 launches The Exchange, a programme of private roundtables and dinners

STRAT7’s private roundtables and dinners bring together senior leaders from insight and the wider business to exchange ideas, learn from one another and build relationships.

STRAT7 has launched The Exchange, a programme of private roundtables and dinners exploring the questions facing insight teams and the wider business. Some are peer discussions between insight leaders; others bring insight, marketing and strategy leaders together to explore shared business challenges and opportunities.

The programme builds on 15 roundtables held over the past year across the UK and US, bringing together senior leaders from sectors including healthcare, financial services, consumer, technology, energy and media.

Those discussions have highlighted the pressure on business leaders to make better decisions more quickly, and the need for insight teams to play a greater part in shaping them. As AI makes customer intelligence more accessible across organisations, it is also changing how insight teams and business leaders work together, particularly around what evidence they can trust and act on.

Exchange roundtables bring up to eight senior leaders together around one question, while smaller, informal dinners give people the opportunity to build relationships beyond their usual networks. STRAT7 helps shape the conversations and brings relevant expertise, but the emphasis is on the people in the room. There are no presentations or sales pitches.

The first Exchange roundtable ‘Seeing around corners’ will take place in London on 5 November, with a repeat session on 12 November. Hosted by Lucy Fallon and colleagues from STRAT7’s cultural insight team, it will explore how foresight earns credibility and helps shape decisions today. Find out more

Other upcoming roundtables include:

  • What does your C-suite really want from insight? How insight teams can balance immediate business priorities with a more proactive role in shaping strategy. Find out more
  • What happens when everyone can ask what customers think? Find out more
  • How wider access to customer intelligence could change the role of insight teams.

“Insight teams are often brought into conversations too late to influence decisions. That needs to change. To play a bigger role, insight leaders need opportunities to challenge their own thinking, hear what their peers are dealing with and learn from what's happening in other industries. The Exchange creates space for those conversations, both among insight leaders and with the marketing and strategy leaders they work alongside. It’s part of what we mean by a ‘New Standard’: putting insight at the centre of business decisions and giving insight leaders a stronger voice in shaping them.”
